The thermal cycle.

Discover a deeper sense of relaxation and renewal with our thermal cycle, designed to gently ease you through soothing heat and refreshing cold treatments, promoting enhanced circulation and overall well-being.

A 3-step path to natural renewal

Heat. Cold. Rest.

Thermotherapy, often referred to as heat therapy, has a long history rooted in ancient practices. The concept of the thermotherapy cycle, which involves alternating between heat, cold, and rest treatments, emerged more recently. When followed in the prescribed sequence, this method not only maximizes healing and recovery but also enhances overall well-being and relaxation.

Doing the heat-cold-rest cycle 2 to 3 times is like giving your body a little extra TLC. Highly recommended for enhanced blood flow and healing, effective pain relief, improved muscle recovery, balancing effects, and adjusting to therapy.

Your cycle begins with our soothing heat treatments, such as our sauna or hot tub. Heat therapy helps to relax muscles, increase blood flow, and reduce stiffness. The warmth dilates blood vessels, which improves circulation and can relieve pain and tension. This phase is particularly beneficial for easing chronic muscle soreness or preparing the body for more intensive therapy. It’s a perfect way to start your journey to relaxation.

Heat

Next, experience the refreshing contrast of our cold therapy. Enjoy a cool shower, dip in the saltwater pool, or a cold plunge. This phase helps to constrict blood vessels, which reduces inflammation and numbs the area to decrease pain. Invigorate your senses with nature’s way of providing a revitalizing jolt to complement the warmth you’ve enjoyed.

1-2 minutes

Cold

Following the heat and cold applications, a rest period allows the body to stabilize and integrate the benefits of the treatments. During this time, the body returns to its normal temperature, and the processes triggered by the heat and cold can continue to work. Resting in one of our lounge chairs or hammocks helps to consolidate the benefits of the therapy and supports overall recovery.
